Hold An Idea Fair Competition & Release Your Employees’ Innovative Juices

Inside every employee are ideas and solutions for problems that are impacting your company’s bottom line. Either a fear of taking risk or a lack of motivation may be holding back many of these ideas from bubbling to the surface. Or, perhaps it’s more a lack of real opportunity for creative approaches to problem solving to be revealed?

Competition is a great method to draw out ideas from employees who rarely have an opportunity (or desire) to contribute beyond their core responsibilities. Project Brilliant organizes Idea Competitions that enable employees to present a simple pitch for their ideas to the likings of the childhood science fairs we once attended.

Three Categories for Competition

During our idea competitions, employees may submit an entry to any of the following three categories:

  1. New Products or Services
  2. Process & Efficiency Improvement
  3. Cost Savings

Employees may enter in more than one category, but each entry must be unique (even if there is overlap). Like a science fair, ideas are restrained to poster-board signs and nominal space for demonstrations if appropriate. Employees have a 3 minute pitch to judges and must be prepared to answer questions.

How We Work

As the event organizer, we provide a turn-key program that starts with a kick-off promotion, assisting employees with preparation of their pitch and day-of-event management.
